Thanks for producing this excellent educational introduction on the past Tsunami and Earthquake events! I absolutely agree the damage today will be more severe than 150 years ago due to population density. 2 Nuclear plants sitting at the North-Eastern corner of Taiwan may cause severe disaster. Taiwan Government shall educate the public before the next Earthquake/Tsunami happened.

感謝您的介紹。我是基隆人，有聽長輩(外公 1915年生)說過基隆港大退潮及下港撿魚者被後來被沖走的事情。應該他也是聽宗長說的。您開頭的畫面應該是在天外天那兒取景，正後方就是八斗子。和核二廠所在地是完全不同的地方。核二廠在萬里，介在野柳和金山間的海灣中。

其實在台灣不只有在北部或東北角曾發生地震型海嘯，
更多人不知道的是根據地質研究，
在南部墾丁半島也曾發生過海嘯。
我在離島，真的沒有什麼高山，不過，我有末世的意識，也經常生活區域附近走動觀察，找好了一處…..如果海水異常倒灌嚴重，可以很快跑上去的小丘😅
