  1. This movie is Fighter in the Wind (2004), and it's currently free to watch on Tubi. Let us know if you watch it!

What other South Korean action film should we break down?

  2. Also consider the placement of the kicks. He aimed those kicks at his opponent’s floater ribs. Kicks that powerful to a structurally weak region on the body would devastate. A good martial artist should study anatomy. Knowing where to employ techniques to cause the most damage is as important as important as mastering the techniques.

  3. As a Taekwondo guy, though I’m familiar with chambering your kicks, I’ve always appreciated kicking the karate way. It feels like it has more power to me. Chambering the kick doesn’t feel as powerful, but it feels a bit quicker to me. So I guess either can be helpful, depending on the circumstances. Nice kicks, by the way!

  4. Fighter In The Wind and Kuro Obi (2007) are 2 karate movies I found very entertaining. I think 2000-2010 had alot of great action movies out of Korea and Japan.
