I never hear men baby talk to grown dogs in these funny animal or pet videos (and I have watched a lot of them) but fairly frequently I hear women baby talk to full grown dogs and puppies.

Our newest puppy took one look at her brother and screamed and peed on the floor. She limped away acting as if she had been attacked. We put her in a crate and let them sniff each other for an hour and they became friends…eventually.
