The Trickster finally got a rework on the PTB, and I wanted to see for myself if it actually makes him better or if he’s still going to struggle. In this video, I jump into the Player Test Build in Dead by Daylight to fully test out the new Trickster changes and see how different he feels compared to before.
I play multiple matches as the reworked Trickster to get a feel for his updated power, how strong he is in chase, and whether these buffs actually help him compete with stronger killers. Some matches go really well, others… not so much. Overall, this gave me a good idea of where he stands after the rework.
I also check out the brand new survivor, Kwon Tae-Young, and play some matches as him to see how he feels on the survivor side. On top of that, I play on the new map included in this update and experience the reworked Trickster from both perspectives — playing as him and going against him.
This video is basically my full PTB experience with the update. You’ll see my honest reactions as everything happens, just testing the changes and seeing how they actually play out.
