1. I have always loved panic at the disco and Brendon Urie. He’s absolutely hysterically funny, checkout his Vines if you haven’t seen them. He’s so funny! He’s extremely smart and talented too, an amazing voice, and his stage performances are awesome too. He’s a self admitted bisexual, but is loyally and faithfully married to his woman of many years now. She is in the video with him for his song, Hallelujah. He was raised Mormon. and it’s awesome to see his growth and awakening, his Angels & Demons sort of themed songs and videos, are an honest take on reality and truth. Makes me think of the INXS song from the 90’s when I was a teen and young adult, the song “Devil inside”. Check it out. The singer died tho, like a tons of other musicians from the 1990’s. Died from drugs and also suicide. so many gone now. heroine really hit the scene in the 1990’s, coming out the cocaine fueled 1980’s, many speed balled, mixed the two, and then add alcohol, and Poof, your dead. so sad. Allot of troubled and tortured souls, beautiful souls from then, whose inner turmoil and troubled minds and troubled spirits, just couldn’t reconcile their love inside with the harsh and raw and real realities and ugly truths of this world, relationships, and everything in-between. A recipe for turning to drugs and alcohol, looking for a way to escape it. Anyhow, Brendon is awesome, and he and the lead singer of another faved band of mine, Fallout Boy, are close friends and have history, and Fall Out Boy is another tremendously unique and genius band, they too, are among the awakened ones. Also, have personal battles with “the ways of the world”, which is reflected in allot of their music. And I’m pretty sure, the lead singer of Fall Out Boy was raised Mormon too. It’s a big deal cause it’s very hard for people to hoe their own path to truth, when raised Mormon. It’s a big deal when people escape it. It’s very much a religious cult, and defecting is majorly bad in the Mormon church’s eyes and a Mormon family’s eyes. Not hard to be disowned and demonized, when you defect from Mormonism. I pray Brendon Urie’s family loved and loves him enough to be proud of him and I pray they’ve stayed in his life. But he is obviously a very good person and phenomenal human being, so clearly, he was well-loved by his parents. Just pray, they accepted his departure from Mormonism and perhaps recognize his genius and firm grip on truths that are often uncomfortable to admit and/or acknowledge. I will say tho, awakening is not for the faint of heart. It is wrought with turmoil, trouble, existential crisis, spiritual warfare, and an extremely difficult and most painful and sorrowful and also mind-bending and heart breaking very much rude awakening. It’s defin not all unicorns and doves. lol. Anyone who thinks it is, hasn’t actually awakened. Hence, what brings me to my comment on this particular song and video. Darkness abides. Evil abides. To be enlightened and illuminated, is a constant battle for Light, the light within. Cause unfortunately, this world is evil, and so are we. And a person can only contend with the darkness all the days of their life. Many lose those battles, maybe winning some battles, but ultimately lose the war within. And either slowly wither away, in an existence of muttered chaos, never feeling at ease, and begrudgingly grow old, resentful or full of fear, and broken down by fear so badly, they lose their minds and sanity, eaten up by the darkness, or they often commit suicide or get into drugs etc, then lose their minds, lose all good judgement as a consequence of that, overdose, or get in a car wreck due to intoxicating drugs alcohol etc and end up dying tragically from the darkness that way. this just goes on repeat and repeat. Doesn’t matter who you are, nobody is safe from being eaten alive, mind, body, and soul, by darkness. Making it ever important and vital for me to emphasize here, the truth. proud of Brendon, and some others too. That seemed to have made it to the other side of this place, while still living. Extremely proud of my loved and cherished Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam too. He really knocked it out of the park. Troubled spirit mind and soul, that truly overcame the darkness and his demons. Check Eddie out if you don’t know what he’s been up to in more recent years, I am so proud of him. He made it. so many didn’t and don’t when you have such a troubled mind. I find inspiration from those who have made it. to that odd place between heaven and hell, where existence, isn’t attached to the world or anything that hinders inner freedom. I still hope to get to that place someday….
