24. I dated a super rich man for 3 years, he was good, honest….but we went to all the places and did the things you would expect "the rich people" to go and do. I was dead inside. Everything seemed so superficial, so hallow, so……devoid of actually humanity. Like an empty glass case, all polished on the outside, with nothing to see on the inside. There were a few genuine people, but beyond that, EVERYTHING was surface level. No deep conversations, no genuine belly laughs till you cried. Weird.
    Now I raise chickens in the country, and my 4 "little" acres make me feel richer than any trip to vegas or Bahamas or shopping sprees or any penthouse ever did. I will never go back. And don't even try to mention Jesus, dead eyes full of judgment like somehow they had evolved beyond the need for Jesus. But their lives are always plagued with some kind of drama or unrest.
    Jesus and nature, God's country, is all I will ever need, want, or desire. God bless you all ❤ ✝️
