Before he knew it, Nori climbed right onto his head, instantly stealing his heart. The couple had recently lost their own cat, and it felt like this brave little girl showed up exactly when they needed her most. At home, Nori proved she was fearless, confidently meeting the other pets and immediately bonding with the family dog, Anakin, who now gets adorably jealous whenever she plays with the cats. I had a beautiful girl named Katie, she was my heart cat and I adopted her from Petsmart. She had started talking to me as I walked by and I just knew she had to come home with me. I had her for a few months when she suffered a saddle thrombus and I had to have her euthanized. That absolutely destroyed me. About 12 years later we were contacted by a friend of a friend who had a cat she could not keep, so we took him in. His name was Ollie. I am now convinced Katie sent him to me. My husband passed away unexpectedly 01/2023. Ollie started spending most of his time with me, sleeping with me and sitting with me almost all day. Three years later, he is still with me most of the day. He is my life saver and my heart cat. This is not to say my other three cats aren't important, because they are as important to me. Ollie just took the lead. They spend most of the day with me. My cats are my children, my family, and my lifesavers and I love all of them.
