Death On Two Legs – Queen Live In Hammersmith 1979 (Restoration + Matrix)

As promised, here is my version of the Queen – Hammersmith Odeon 1979 show.

This project originally started around March –June this year, but I didn’t touch it for quite a while which you can probably tell from the lack of uploads. An earlier version of this project was actually started last year, but I had to ditch it after selling my PC. Back then, the audio matrix wasn’t good enough, and I simply didn’t have the proper audio knowledge or the right software to push it further.

Now that I have a new laptop and a much better understanding of audio cleanup, I decided to restart everything from scratch earlier this year. A few days ago, I felt it was finally time to revisit this project and upload it on its anniversary.

I also want to apologize that this show has to be uploaded song by song. Recently, QPL has gone completely crazy with copyright strikes, and I haven’t seen a single full upload of the Hammersmith 1979 concert survive on YouTube. As painful as it is, uploading it song by song is the only realistic way to stay safe and keep this project alive in the middle of this madness.

Note :
Miles is sadly not involved in the audio this time. If you notice some EQ inconsistencies, that’s on me. most of the project was done using my old headphones, which are now broken. I’ve since switched to a cheaper pair with less clarity, which made matching everything perfectly a lot harder near the end. That said, the project was already about 90% done when I revisited it.

Even so, this is my Christmas gift to you all, even if I didn’t celebrate it myself. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, and thank you for sticking around and supporting this project.
