  1. Hurricane Melissa changed Jamaica forever.

Do you believe the world is doing enough to help small islands like ours recover — or are we being left to face the climate crisis alone?

  2. 🇺🇸I am doing my best to pollute as much as possible run and idle my turbodiesels remove pollution devices, chop down trees and burn them. Everything I can to increase global warming… Let un and jamaica rebuild their island. No taxpayer bail out from USA coming!!! You live on carribean island expect to get hurricanes🇺🇸

  3. I think outsiders – those who don't live there but get to vacation there – will not fully appreciate what has happened to a vacation destination they love because they sit inside resorts and will never truly see what has happened in greater Jamaica. They're receiving messages like, "Don't cancel your trips because the island needs your tourism dollars." While this is absolutely true, it also means that tourist areas alone will be rebuilt in record time, and people who work in tourism sectors will benefit significantly from tourist generosity ($$ tips, supplies brought in, etc). This leaves the rest of the island – average Jamaicans who do not work in tourism – on their own to rebuild. It's crushing to even imagine how long it will take parishes like St. Elizabeth to recover enough to feed the island again. I have personally sponsored two families (I know them personally) and I wish it was easier for outsiders to be able to do this! I'm well aware that sending them money doesn't fix their immediate problems but it helps. But what they need are laptops to build back their businesses, furniture, homes, etc, etc. The scope is just massive. 😒

  4. It might not just be climate change. They got methods like cloud seeding and chemtrails that deliberately do something to change the weather. They might have had some political interests in suppressing certain countries. The hurricane might have blown clear but they can alter its path. Why are they doing airstrikes in Venezuela at this time ?

  5. They will pretend to loan or grant you the money to repair your property then they will trick you in the paperwork that you have to repay them. When you can't repay them they will try to take your land for their own agenda. Be careful Jamaicans. Come together with your neighbors and your community. 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲. Something fishy gwaan

  6. I appreciate the rebuilding, but the ones that are trying to buy don't understand, the question when we sell were do we have to go .money in pocket can mean staying with a family member until the money is done then what..some will have to capture land is that good no .if you want to help its best you lone the money Jamaica are proud people it will be paid back
