Another deep dive into the collection, this time it’s the letter F, with many great albums by such artists as The Feelies, The Fuzztones, Fugazi, The Faces and so much more. The Flamin’ Groovies open the show with a demo version of Shake Some Action, from the album Slow Death, a compilation of demos from 2002 on Norton records.

I have been looking for a copy of that Teenage Head album, such a classic. I use to have a few Frankie and the Witch Fingers albums, pretty good music. Always interesting albums Michael
Hello Michael, Nice to see all of these records from your "F" section. Big fan of the Flamin' Groovies and Fuzztones. Five Day Work Week is a good record, psych. Frankie and the Witchfingers was the first single released on the Hypnotic Bridge label, it's a tough one to find now. I've heard of the Feelies, just never heard them. Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac is the best! I have a reissue of that Freeborne, cool record. Defrosted is Frijid Pinks best, some good rocking tracks on that record. Fugazi!!! What an angry band! Maggot Brain is the best. I need to checkout 15 n60 75. Cool records. Thanks for the video. Nice VCLT for Ron also.
Hi Michael! I had the 7inch 9 months later of that In Heat album. Franky & the Witchfingers I will check them out! The Feelies I just know by name. Those early Fleetwood Mac albums seem to be great diamonds. I didn't know that the Flaming Groovies did already begin in the 60s! I love The Fall ! RIP Mark E Smith. I had their 2nd album Dragnet, a repress. Fugazi ! I had their first album Waiting Room! High on my wishlist also! That Maggot Brain is popular in the VC. The Faces had a big impact on the early Sex Pistlols. I spotted there A Date With Elvis, I had a first press, again on my wishlist! Have a nice Sunday! Jason
I’ve never been able to find a copy of Five Day Week Straw People.
Thanks Michael. Some great albums. I have not heard those Flamin' Groovies demos, yet. Take care, Chris
Feelies, The Fall, Fugazi, Funkadelic, Flamin' Groovies, Faces, Free. I salute your taste, particularly the range of rock music you listen to. Hope to see more.
Hi Michael- I enjoy watching your channel, great record collection. My favorites here are the Feelies and Felt (in the background), Good Earth and Forever Breathes the Lonely Word are top shelf albums! Take care, Matt
Great stuff as usual, Michael!
Hello oldman . I See all the records from your video is second and thirty. Pressings with coloured vinyl's! A question for you.In your childhood the music when liked was?? Disco, pop, country, opera, classics, reggae?????I'm sure you don't like the rock music because you don't have original copy's from the 60's 70's and 80's ,maybe you are fun to CD. Bye oldman! Elias(doctor of madness) Athens-Greece UBERALES 🎉🎉🎉
Hi Michael, superb stuff in your collection Faces, fall, etc you got me into the Fuzztones as well! Great video 👍
Great idea for a series of videos. Flaming Groovies are great, and they are still performing. Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac is classic. As is the Fugazi!
Great tune to begin your video! 👌
Hey Micheal, I have a 3 CD collection of Fleetwood Mac’s shows at The Boston Tea Party in 1970., its amazing. I’m looking that Frijid Pink album, their first album is great. I don’t have that Fugs album. There are several Fugs videos. One has a Fug carrying a rifle around acting weird. Have a great weekend
Evening Michael, I have a few Free records in my collection, but I don't have that one. Agree with your thoughts on Kossoff and Green. Two Fugs albums got cut in my ongoing purge, I always have second thoughts, but thankfully they fade with time. Faces, saved the best for last! Have a good weekend, take care.
A record collection isn't complete unless you have some Fuzztones in it. Thankfully, I nearly own everything by them.Rock On !!!
G’day Michael . Great bunch of albums once again . I really like all the Free albums and agree with you that Paul Kossoff is one of the most underrated guitarists of all time and gone way too soon , same with Peter Green 🎸Those Faces albums are excellent too . Enjoy your weekend mate !
