  1. The current JLP admin has not maintained the drains and gullies throughout the nation, they are highly corrupt, cruel and incompetent. I wonder what happens to insurance payment when you don't do the basics to mitigate risk.

  2. No storm can silence the prayers of a faithful people. Jamaica stands under God’s hand — strong, blessed, and covered in grace through every wind and wave.

  3. If you're in the Kingston area and you're where you can actually see the ocean, you're way too close. I have been through a category four hurricane in New Bern North Carolina. We lost many families here where we had to cut through the roofs of our homes to get to safety. Find shelters that are in the mountains and go there do not try to stay close to the ocean or you likely will die.

  4. Well thats not true…..I was born there and experienced Hurricane Gilbert as a category 5 hurricane when it hit the island in 1988.
