  1. I used to run 5’s with a bunch of guys at a 24hr fitness 3 times a week. There were about 15 of us total plus some randoms trickling in from time to time.
Depending on the day, you had different groups showing up. Monday it was the best of the best because those were guys that were ready to get the week started and go at it. It was the most competitive and usually the most fun of the days.
Wednesday was more of a chill day, some of the guys like me and 6-10 others who just wanted to hoop only, and the other half were randoms or casuals.
Saturday night However we called “Demon time” and we called it that because usually it would be us 5 out of the 20 regular players and 10-15 guys who either were trying to stay sober so they were on edge, or plans for a party, get together, or even some other bullshit came up, they are on edge. This is when the random fights, the non stop arguments over weather it was out on us or them, or even straight up multiple times guys getting knocked out over the dumbest shit.
The point of all this is to say, be ware of your environment and the person you’re playing with, against, or even sometimes the person you’re with who’s playing against you.

  2. (F)uck that head bounce nonsense! Seriously only my Mom, God, Baby, My 1 born Son & 1st born Daughter have that privilege.. But baby girl has anytime privileges, but that's it! No body else!!

  3. What a bunch of losers. Haha

I'm 208cm tall, but turned away from this sport, just because of people like this. Getting injured isn't a price I'm willing to pay for a hobby. Every sport without direct contact with your opponent is better for you, trust me.

  4. I hate hoopin with mfs like this smh niggas be acting like nba scouts are on the court or sum lmaoo ill just leave go home and hop on 2k shi ain’t that serious 😂

  5. still remember this emotional boy back in 2000. he face bounced me upon checking, i was ok cool its streetball. but when I did it to him, he got mad, claiming I threw the ball at his nose.

  6. That head bump shit is crazy. My girlfriend’s nephew (11) did that to me and hit me in square in the face with glasses on. Let’s just say I got pretty pissed off and he learned a lesson.

  7. I started playing in 1965, 5th grade, the better I got the more people wanted to play one on one. I did it a few times, but quickly realized that there was jealousy taking place. The guys who challenged me normally were better than me, so I didn't trip. I knew then that if I had more ego surrounding my game, things would automatically go left. So I never asked anyone to play one on one myself. Maybe some 21, but not one on one.

  8. This new generation is tapped. They talk shit and show another man disrespect but don't expect retribution. Bounce the ball off my head we swinging! They other guy talking about i'll beat you up then when he ends up in a headlock talking about get him out of here 🤦🏿‍♂ I'm done
