I see this before the Hannah Jack show and the tour guide in Africa said the reason why giraffes do this it's because they're young is too young to fight predators off so if the mom feel like her baby is being threatened by tigers or leopards they will stoop down let the baby climb up on her to protect her baby from predators that's why they do that is a mom she would kick the s*** out of a tiger lion laughing hyena her legs can break bones and break their neck giraffe's legs are very powerful so that's why the baby is on the back
