  1. When I graduated high school, my parents let me get a yellow lab puppy (I'd had been wanting one since I was about 10, even down to thinking of a name). A family friend bred yellow lab puppies and allowed me to pick first. There were four girl pups in the mix (parents preferred girl dogs) so they took the four out to play/meet me. Three seemed more interested in exploring the room outside their gated area. The fourth puppy walked over to me and curled up into my lap.

She's 11 now and currently snoring on her bed

  2. My dog was like this:

Me: snuggles random dog, that dog goes in my lap

    Me: sees sleeping dog

    Me: weird

    Me: ignores sleeping dog

My parents:hey so that dog you wanted wasn’t available we are getting that one that was sleeping instead
    Me: awwwwww

Me now: I love my precious baby

  3. AWWWE SCANNING AROUND THE ROOM, THE EXPRESSIONS ON THEIR LITTLE FACES ARE ENOUGH TO BREAK YOUR HEART. SAD FACES, HOPEFULL FACES, WAITING TO SEE WHAT THESE HUMANS ARE GOING TO DO. IS ONE OF US GONNA GET A NEW HOME❓🥺
