and as a woman who used to solo camp often, it was hard to relax in many situations because just because one feels vulnerable outside alone… not weird at all, normal.
really none of these situations are very haunting except the poor little cat sitting outside the fence will anyone adopt that little cat?
In my area I always used my own vehicle for parking lot security. Mobile patrol vehicles are not used for stationary jobs.

I believe a lot of these situation were just innocent incounters. My only concern is in these same situations this day and age you can't trust anyone. If you are a girl camping alone and not in a cabin or van you could be asking for trouble. A women or a man sleeping in a tent alone unarmed is plain unadvisable. I have send tenting people attacked by humans and animals.
So not all security companies pay for marked security vehicles. I've worked for several companies that expect you to use your vehicle on properties. Unfortunately it's not all that uncommon. I worked several properties where my car was the 'security vehicle.'
Last story was 100% Fake Security
First story is where you immediately call 1911 and grab the gun you have with you.
Why can't people just leave people alone.. I have walked in the woods and seen a tent and it never crossed my mind, let me go over and bug that person.. just thought, oh cool, someone is camping.. smh.. cannot just enjoy some fresh outdoor moments without someone having to mess with you..🤦♀️

The woman camped by the ocean doesn't seem very smart to me. A lot of really poor choices. Smh
American / Canadian wooded spaces are creepy. Never use a tent. Use a lockable van. Watch out for creepy old/young men. If you are allowed firearms for defence then get trained and carry. We can’t in Europe. France seems safe for ladies. Spain is a bit dodgy in places. Italy is ok for families.
Never go out of your house or van if you're uncertain.

I'm still unsure what the lure of traveling around backroads in a cramped van and then parking it in a forest or empty lot only to have to worry about strange people, possible altercations and being in a potentially life threatening situation with no help nearby. It's as if we've traveled back in time to the Depression era where people were forced to live like this person lives. Does she have job? How does she afford bouncing around from town to town?
