My buddy Eddie, often I help him with his auto detailing and he had a client who was a tall but skinny guy. I did some Bjj for a bout 4 years and his client also did Bjj but only 2 years and he was still just a white belt, but we were just chopping it up or whatever.
When the young guy came back out I asked what else he does…Muy Thai.
When Eddie and I left he asked me if I think I could submit or beat up that young guy… I'm heavier and have a couple years more experience in Bjj than him…but I told Eddie he would probably fk' both of us up at the same time. Eddie refused to believe or understand but I told him anyone who's been a white belt for more than 2 years is either doing other training…or just doing open mat on the weekends.
The young guy probably spends most of his spare with with Muy Thai and has just enough Bjj to defend any takedown I would attempt while I'm getting elbowed going in for that takedown….Eddie just doesn't understand I guess😂
