Did Ghosts on Trent Capture a GHOST ON CAMERA?

Spread The Viralist

Did Ghosts on Trent actually capture a ghost on camera? Ghosts on Trent got invited to the now infamous house of “the Lady in the Bay Window” to investigate the claims, what seemed to be a usual quiet night for them, turned into something else when the audience think they spotted something!

Did Paul accidently capture the image of the GHOST in a reflection? Or, was it simply some really cool paradolia?

  1. Great analysis as always mate 👍 we'll be discussing this later this week. Always great to have the debunkers point of view on things. Appreciate you sending people over to our channel

  2. I saw the whole body and head of a clown below/behind the face while looking for the face, so I think it might be pareidolia. Either that, or this is a very scary house! 😨

  3. A few weeks ago, I was recovering from surgery (a month out, just resting from being sore, not on any medication) and I heard the bathroom door clearly shut and latch closed downstairs. I’ve lived in this house for 40 years (since I was a small child) and this sound was SO CLEAR and IMO real that I called my mom and wandered around my locked from the inside (chains and bolts) house with a kitchen knife searching for a real human being. I was shocked! Still don’t know what it was. Not sure it was paranormal, but I don’t have another explanation. 😳

  4. The body is the reflection of the chair. It even shows the stitching lines that go vertical.
The face is pareidolia or reflection of something on a shelf

  5. I can or can't say either. But i know something exists as i cant explain what myself, my daughter, and her father experienced at different places and times. Plus there were other people as well that witnessed the same things as well. I would really love answers and not those click baiting, and shows that capture ghostly experiences every 2 seconds in their videos. I respect the 2 teams u mentioned because of that, and urself for being the way u r as well, as we all want some answers and not fake proof 👻

  6. Even when you were pointing things out I never really saw anything. Pareidolia or otherwise I still think this was a great honest investigation. And honestly i am one of those people who would love to believe in the paranormal, but have become disenfranchised with the amount of dude bros. My dad and I always bonded over stories of ghosts and experiences he had shared with me as I was growing up. But now I look at everything with a more skeptical view that has stolen the magic for lack of a better term.

  7. At least it’s not them fakers and click bait specialists Ghosts of Britain Lee and Zara that went on This Morning claiming she had been attacked by a porcelain doll.
This is the guy that when you ripped his Facebook page / group to bits he posted a long comment defending himself saying he doesn’t believe in ghosts and debunks every video he does himself and gives updates. I can assure you he has never posted anything to say the previous nights video was nothing paranormal
He has over 3 million followers kudos to him for that but maybe if he was more honest and say there’s no doll that scratched his mrs and it’s either been done in the act of love making or in her sleep he would have 4 million viewers, most of the followers are deluded pretend mediums that think they see ghosts every night they record. There are quite a few that just say it’s a load of bollocks but then get bullied by the Karen’s and Alan’s

GoT are honest guys like yourself Dale
    Keep up the excellent work

  8. I agree, Beardo, it appears to be a case of pareidolia. Thanks for recommending Ghost on Trent and other reputable investigators. Insightful analysis of the evidence, as always. Keep up the good work!

  9. The first part I saw the still frame and thought this was going to be something about claiming aliens visited them since what I saw was a shape that could be said to appear vaguely similar to a misshapen head with large eyes, like the stereotypical Hollywood depiction of a grey alien. I was unaware of the backstory so did not have the expectation of seeing an old woman, so pareidolia did not make me think I saw a ghost. Seeing it in real time it is clearly just light reflected off the window though.

Further in you see a reflection in the mirror at 14:41 and his outfit, a light coloured jacket with a zip down the middle, it looks very similar to the large blocky white-grey reflection in the window at the beginning, even the same stance with arms up holding the camera in front of his face (and face unseen because of the glare from the light). I would wager a guess that it was his reflection in the window, albeit distorted because it is a different angle and you don't see the direct glare of the light at head level. Then the face, whether it be an alien or an old woman, is just pareidolia caused by smudges on the window and what you can see of the trees behind the reflection. You see it more later on when they get to the part with him standing close to the window, you see his outfit reflected clearly, so at 18:46 when you "its clearly the reflection of something in that room" I am at least 90% convinced it is his reflection.

I do not see a face in that red circle, though if I try really hard I think I can see what looks like a meme of a sad contemplative cat staring towards the left of the screen. The red circle bisects the cat's left eye and its right eye is at the top middle of the circle, with his nose right around where the guy's head would be if he wasn't holding a camera in front of his face, Which is the wonders of pareidolia, you can make yourself see nearly anything in random patterns.Which is also why I will continue to argue that if you are going to be investigating seriously on of the worst things you can do is take the tour/research the history before hand. You should go into it blank, no subconscious ideas to influence what you think you see and hear, just an objective investigation that you can then research and compare your results afterwards to see if anything you found is more than mere coincidence and pareidolia.

  10. I never saw the faces you were pointing out I saw a different face within the same circle but it does seem like paradolia I'd think with the amount of editing that goes in GoT would have seen it and mentioned it

  11. I would agree that this is pareidolia, only because of the way the brain interprets visual signs and signals. It will always see faces first, whether it's from reflections, dirt on the window, etc.

"Apophenia" is the umbrella term under which "pareidolia" (less commonly known as "patternicity") falls, both visual and auditory. Other related terms are "clustering illusion" (where investigators may conclude that certain areas are "hotspots" for cold or heat, or strong paranormal activity or where equipment shows persistent unusual readings), "confirmation bias" (seeking and possibly finding evidence supporting current knowledge or beliefs), and "ideas of reference" (often a specific noise, sound, EVP, or event becoming a direct message or response from a spirit, even if there's no objective reason to believe so).

I won't state that every case is apophenia, but in my experience the majority of these – both visual and audio – can be interpreted as pareidolia. It's difficult to say conclusively in most cases if something is legitimate paranormal activity or something more "normal". I think it ultimately depends on the context, the location, and the investigator's experience during the investigation.

  12. i've mentioned this before, beardo but i do use the ghost hunters method of investigations (well early ghost hunters): go into any investigation with the mind of a debunker. no matter how good something looks, you have to try to debunk it before you can call it paranormal. i know you believe it in, as do i. so you have to do be fair when it comes to this stuff. this mindset is what seperates the real investigators from the sensational jack asses who think every bump, creak and fart is a demon.

  13. Have to agree with you on this one mate. Kinda funny because i coudl see the face you mentioned but not the other one. Still some good honest investigation by GOT and it;s good that it was viewers who pointed it out where sso many other channels would have laid claim to it themselves,

  14. We like to investigate during the day if possible, because basically we don't follow the general belief amongst the paranormal investigation community that spirits are more active during the night. The conclusion that I came to a long time ago is that people that make paranormal video content like the added suspense the dark brings.
The reason that I became interested in hauntings wasn't because of TV programmes (YouTube didn't exist back then), it was more a result of experiencing a sighting of an apparition myself, in broad daylight.
I went from a complete sceptic to a believer on that day, and have moved it forward by joining a paranormal investigation group.

  15. his story was also featured into the fog with peter laws about 7 months ago? it was an interesting one for sure and like you i've noted that the story has fundamentally remain unchanged. agreed i'd love to see them go back, i know i would appreciate a 360 view of the room if only in stills and a recreationg and i'd also love for an exterior camera to be trained on the window, for the duration of the investigation. maybe in a car if tech growing legs is a concern.

  16. I mean, we have ALL been primed to see a woman in a window, and we just happen to see a pareidolia woman in the window? That's evidence against* it being a ghost, not in support of it to be fair.

Also, as you know, there doesn't need to be financial incentive to make up a ghost story, fame alone can be all the incentive needed, but it doesn't even need to be a fake story, it could just be a mistake or something misunderstood as a ghost without any malice.

  17. One of the interesting aspects of pareidolia is that no one is immune to it. Looks weird or sounds weird, your primitive brain still has subconscious tendencies to see and listen for cues to a potential threat. The perception can be literally anything, Sound, Vision, even touch or physical senses. This makes the job of being an investigator quite difficult, as your own mind plays tricks, and evidence can often be a result of just that.

  18. I see it but it sort of reminds me of other things I'd seen in doors and what not. Like the grains of a door. The fog or something gathered just right. Eyes making shapes out of something. I actually saw an owl in one of my doors because of the knots and I drew a picture out of it it was cool. Even drew a picture. There was an indent on a pillar that reminded me of a Stargate SG1 symbol too and I went "They were here!" XD

  19. There are no ghosts cause they went MC. Donalds just couple of minute ago… And after burgers they moving To kambodia… So nothing To see!! 🦘🦨🦦👊

  20. … Dumbest fake debunked Evert are debunked now, even face are fake like tonald dumb's greatness… Shame on you, here you pretending some smart debunker even you are totally A. I. fake… 🐻🐷🦝
