WOW THAT SHOWS HOW MUCH WE ARE ALL CONNECTED
We have six small dairies in our county and they all hire the middle and high school band and orchestra students for once-twice a week concerts for the herds. Those kids use the money instead of bake-sales and car-washes. The worst thing is that their travels are now so frequent and wonderful that, for 2-3 weeks every school year, half the kids are GONE for a week while the others rotate in to help continue the timetable. Dairies show such a great increase in volume and quality of dairy from those concerts. We wonder if the dairies will suffer from boredom at some point!
