After this lady was asked to take care of a blind American Bully temporarily; she agreed to do so for only two weeks. The dog’s nickname is Ham Sammy! And after just a few days of having him at home with her; she grew very fond of him and realized she wanted to keep him forever. She spent many months teaching the blind dog special tricks to help him get around without sight. Two years later, a different rescue group reached out to her about another blind dog; a 9-week-old American Bully who also needed a home. This dog’s nickname was Meatball! And without any delay, the lady picked him up from the airport the very next day. These two dogs are now called ‘The Blind Brothers.’ And even though training a blind dog can be quite tough; she’s using the techniques she learned with Ham Sammy, like putting hoops around their heads to prevent them from bumping into things. Since not many people are ready to adopt a blind dog; there’s a high chance that the pups would have been put down if it weren’t for this lady opening her heart and giving them the wonderful life they have now!
