  1. Placing KOTOR at the top feels like a wild choice to me. Its story just feel so generic and uninspired next to TSL. I know it was left unfinished, but there's no way I could ever rank K2 below K1 in my own mind.

  2. Star wars battlefront 2 by EA the great game now do you go play it in interstells the players it's a second to join the game I don't understand why it's so low at first they messed it up but now after years of improvement it's

  3. I think that Empire at War should be ranked higher. Brilliant game that i still play.

Cory Loses puts out high quality work with his mods and I can not recommend him and his work enough.

  4. My 3 favorites are: the 90's X-Wing/Tie Fighter games, OG Battlefront 1, (when you conquer a territory, it tends to stay conquered), and Star Wars: Rebellion.

  5. Republic Commando is also tied directly to the like-named Karen Traviss series, with Delta squad making a number of appearances and numerous references in the novels.

  6. Some of my best fun I had with my kid was playing Lego star wars can’t wait to introduce to my grandkids one day I even told my son let me have that moment 😂

  7. I happened to be playing Empire at War when I put this on. And Demolition was fun, but also jank as heck, I played it a lot with my friends.

  8. E1 Racer is missing and would have deserved a well-earned place on the hidden gems-tier. Useless, if you don't like racing games. If you do, it combines the best of both worlds. Fun mechanics, good graphics for '99 and even some challenging races!

  9. I remember having Flight of the Falcon. It was 'okay' for the most part, flying portions were based on the Starfox design of gameplay and the levels weren't connected at all, but there was one level that had you on a speeder on Tatooine, locked to the ground and avoiding piles of garbage. It was ridiculously difficult and I did not complete it.

The Phantom Menace tie-in had nostalgia for me, and I personally feel like it had jank and clunk in an endearing way. There were lots of ways to freely break the game by running through doors ahead of time, killing NPCs at your discretion with and without consequences, ignoring the 'duck and cover' style gameplay to instead take out droid tanks by getting underneath them, and random hidden secrets that felt more like glitching through the game. An interesting one was breaking into a garage on Tatooine where you could get onto a turret, which would start a minigame where jawas would infinitely spawn and try to assault your position. It was very unforgiving though, health packs were rare, and the cheat code to give you full health was only usable three times for the whole game.

My personal nostalgia engine is Jedi Academy. I love how easy it was to get into modding it too, I remember being 14-15 years old making top-tier maps on Filefront. I didn't get to play Outcast until later on, but I did like that the engines were the same and mods were mostly compatible between the two.
