I don't know if I should laugh or pull my hair out. Nature just IS. It does not have a 'mood' or a vengeful mind. That is SOLELY a 'Humanzie' trait.
Our infrastructure was not 'here' first, and Nature came along with spite & anger, intending on doing unmitigated damage. No.
The destruction of Human's Infrastructure has EVERYTHING to do with P-poor designs & engineering. Remember… all of our homes, highways, over-passes, public buildings AS WELL AS the very material they are made with, are built by 'low bid'. Meaning that the KING of 'corner cutting' wins the bid.
America USED to build for longevity; Do the job RIGHT the first time & you won't have to go back & fix it. But no. We don't operate like that anymore.
Now, City Planners will build on dangerous ground. They 'glad-hand' corporations & property developers for the all mighty dollar, allowing neighborhoods & buildings & bridges to be built in dangerous areas, BECAUSE, at the end of the day… that's what is MORE/MOST important.
When people perish in disasters, NO ONE is as well trained as our Public Officials, to wear 'the pitty-boo face' & say "no one saw this coming". Oh nay-nay… some of us see it coming. It's just that we're members of the vast peasantry. We don't have the big $$$ college degree so we obviously don't know anything. Well… they're wrong.
Disasters happen because of P-poor Professionals. Otherwise it would just be another rainy day.
