A adult lions bite force is 1,000 psi according to some sources Secondly yes hyenas have a very strong bite but there’s only been one instance of a hyena breaking elephant bone.

34. The 650 psi bite force for lions was officially debunked a few years ago. That was assessed on a juvenile male lion back in the 1990’s. A more accurate result concluded a bite force of around 1000psi on an average adult male.
