  1. I watched that live, still sends chills down my spine, but Lenny jumping in water to save Priscilla still one of greatest acts of spontaneous heroism ever caught on film..👍🇺🇸

  2. I can still remember watching this on my little B&W TV back on that day in 82. When I saw the recent crash of the PSA flight I was shocked that it came down not far from the Air Florida crash. That stretch of river is a graveyard.

  3. I remember watching this as a kid. I never got over the footage of first responders standing there watching people drown. This and watching police hiding behind their cars in the Columbine parking lot had a profound effect on my world view – I would say that they sharpened my understanding of reality.

  4. Even in the UK, it is a vivid memory of mine, so tragic and the sight of that poor woman blinded by fuel and ice? OMG! For all the others who perished, may you rest in peace.

  5. How different Reagan seems to have handled tragedy and bringing mourners together!! A complete 180 from how people in the same position of leadership seem to handle situations that require solace, compassion and tact! This is definitely missing nowadays!!
