1. Tropical cyclones are intense areas of low pressure that form over warm tropical waters. They are responsible for some of the most catastrophic weather events. We look at the effects of Cyclone Nargis in India in 2008 and Ida, one of the worst tropical cyclones on record to affect Africa and the Southern Hemisphere in 2019.

6. what a well-made documentary on such a critical topic! the visuals really capture the impact of cyclones. however, I can’t help but wonder if there’s too much focus on the destruction rather than the resilience of communities that face these disasters. it might lead to a skewed perception of how people actually cope and rebuild after such events.

7. great job on this documentary! it's always fascinating to learn about these powerful natural events, but i can't help but wonder if we sometimes glamorize the destruction. like, yes, cyclones can be awe-inspiring, but the human cost is often overlooked. what do you think?
