‘Evil’ is usually divided into two broad categories: ‘moral evil’ and ‘natural evil’. Natural disasters clearly fall in the latter category.
It is natural to ask, ‘If this world is presided over by a powerful, loving God, how come His world is so plagued with natural evil?’
Genesis tells us that God didn’t make it this way! He made a PERFECT world, and made perfect humans to inhabit it, sharing perfect fellowship with Him. But we rebelled against Him—the very SOURCE of all life and love! WE brought sin and death into the world! It was US that broke things! Now creation itself is ‘groaning’ and ‘in bondage to corruption’ (Rom 8:20-23)
For His own good purposes, God chose NOT to just magically undo what Adam did. (That’s right: God has good purposes which He is still working out through it all.)
But He DID go to great lengths—and huge cost to Himself—to provide a remedy for the situation! (creation.com/good-news ) And He has promised that one day He will restore perfection in a brand new, even better creation!
We perceive them as disasters, in reality hurricanes, volcanos, tornados all provide benefits and occur with purpose.

God is neither a "he or a she", both are made by that Creator. Birth & death is a process instigated by God in The Material Creation in different bodies to teach Us that We are not in The Image of God, even though, that is what We were made. The Word of God teaches Us how to live in "That Image" but we have discarded rejected abandoned that to follow our own heart & mind over-riding The Given Word. All creation & destruction we see is by His Command & Order. The same a citizen of any country cannot order or command their president or ruler even meet Him or Her, they have to follow the Country's Laws Constitution Courts Police, Protocol. The created by God are in no position to command or order or even question God Their Creator.
But if God is so loving why He wud kill his servant, Jesus?
