When local residents alerted us about a family of dogs trapped in an earthen crevice, we knew time was critical. The mother dog, severely weakened from calcium deficiency, could barely care for her hungry puppies. Our rescue team quickly arrived to save this precious family from their dire situation.
The rescue revealed a heartbreaking scene – an exhausted mother dog embracing her vulnerable puppies in a cramped space. We immediately provided emergency care, giving the mom vital fluids and medication while ensuring her puppies received the nourishment they desperately needed.
At our shelter, our dedicated veterinary team diagnosed the mother’s calcium deficiency and low body temperature. Through careful treatment, proper nutrition, and endless dedication, we witnessed an incredible transformation. Today, this brave mama dog is recovering wonderfully and enjoying nutritious meals while her adorable puppies grow stronger each day!
