I have brother and sister dogs. Best thing ever. They keep each other company and I get twice the love and fun.
The actions of animals like this just makes my heart hurt. I lost my favorite companion of 20 years, and after a little while I visited a shelter looking for another cat. Of course I was looking for a kitten, and there were lots of them all vocal and reaching through the cages. Then I came upon a grown cat sitting up looking through the wire, very quiet. The look in his eyes just broke my heart. I could tell he had no idea what had happened to him or why. He was the one. Another 20 years. Right now I have a 19 year old, that my daughter was unable to take with her 14 years ago. Each one special. I see that sad, confused look in this pup’s eyes. I’m expecting a great outcome. There’s the hint of that in the beginning of the video.

As a dog lover and owner of hounds, when I moved into my home I fenced it REALLY well because I knew hounds will escape and travel a long way. Seeing that dog waiting for his family is heatbreaking I think he may be a Border collie cross. He is just a pup and ready to be part of a family. His nails maybe short due to running.
If my circumstances changed, I would sleep in my car with my dogs but never surrender them.
