It’s really astounding to me that no matter how often we see “pit bulls” not get aggressive even at their most frightened and vulnerable, people still don’t recognize that aggressive behavior is an aberration and not at all common for these breeds. Blaming harmful behavior on “breed” is not only inaccurate and useless, it’s downright dangerous, since accepting this fallacy as an answer impedes understand of what conditions actually contribute to negative behavioral outcomes.

  3. You’re a good dog person when you acknowledge & understand your own errors. So many people have egos when it comes to animal rescue & you simply can’t have ego in the rescue world it’s detrimental to the cause
