Ap Lei Chau Market (https://maps.app.goo.gl/AnU9QghRLHsBTRPQ7) – To begin this Hong Kong seafood tour we started off at Ap Lei Chau Market where we bought some fresh seafood before going upstairs to the food court. Thereโs an amazing restaurant at the top where they will cook your seafood, and itโs as fresh as possible, and extremely delicious.
Hing Kee Restaurant (https://maps.app.goo.gl/GdFtni2BgX6QDUby6) – We met up with Eugene, at his family restaurant where. His Grandfather originally cooked crab on a boat in Hong Kong harbor, and they made the original Hong Kong Typhoon Shelter Crab. The recipe has since evolved into a mountain of fried crispy garlic, but to my surprise the original recipe is mainly based on fermented black bean sauce. You have try both versions!
Sampan Boat Restaurant – Finally Virginia we had one more seafood restaurant this time, on a boat with the typhoon shelter of Hong Kong to get a glimpse of the real history.

All the fresh seafood looks super delicious, never tried razor clams before. And anytime I hear "noodles and soup", I'm def in. The fried garlic into soup move was great!

Hi Mark I have to ask because like many viewers would love an honest answer. After having gone through years of food eating daily weekly I'm sure you've had issues clearing your bowels but the pooh hole must discharge permanent odors on a regular case. Could you explain the smells, oil seepage, pains, residues etc you contend with and what do you do to fix some of the issues.
That's cool that you can pick the fish you want and get them cooked right away.
