Porcelain Bloopers — Compilation of Pottery Fails

Porcelain Bloopers — Compilation of Pottery Fails
Spread The Viralist

After a month or more away from the wheel I dove back into a busy week of throwing porcelain pots. Here are a few fails from that time but my rusty hands are quickly getting back into the swing of things.

All the pots destroyed aren’t wasted, in fact the material can be quickly recycled and thrown into new pots, as seen in this video: https://youtu.be/mco55yi_U6s

As I always say in these descriptions, these #Shorts videos are just a small portion of the content I upload on YouTube. If you’d like to watch longer, much more in-depth and informative films that are narrated, I also upload those to my channel too.

Thanks for watching!

  1. I try to not look at something after I have created it because I end up hating 😞 it. I am trying to be myself again, a floundering Artist. Your stuff is great. Keep going.❤

  2. I'm working on a hand building project for a class and I SO wish I could have done this… nope gotta reform and reform and make this damn thing work because I don't have time to completely restart 😭😭😭

  3. It’s actually good for beginners to see this because I seemed to fail more than win at this stage and when you see experienced potters fail to then you know it’s just about producing a product you are happy with and not just for the sake of it.

  4. This makes me feel better because he's such a master. It's nice to know he still messes up and I shouldn't worry because it's going to happen to me forever too then.

  5. I was feeling a little inadequate as a potter after seeing you throw one perfect pot after another on your channel. It's good to see that an accomplished potter like yourself can also have the wonky pots that need destroying every now and then. Kudos for not being afraid to show your failures as well as your triumphs.
