  1. I wanna go so bad. I’m related to Robert E. Lee on my grandfathers moms side of the family. So much history and Gettysburg is literally drawing me in, just never got time to go. Great videos!

  2. I believe in ghost of the old Civil War houses, a kid that was burned down and rebuilt on the foundation. I used to see a lot of stuff, but I feel like the wind did it. look at the trees blowing pretty hard when the doll fell.

  3. In 2007, I had an experience during a ghost tour in Gettysburg. I was 14 years old. And I swear on my Grandfather's grave that this is a true story; I saw what appeared to be a grayish apparition run behind a tree and I went to go see because I knew I saw something. There was nothing there but it was COLD, then all of a sudden, something grabbed my shoulder really hard and I heard a disembodied voice say, "GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE…," and despite the voice being disembodied, I could tell that that it was a Union soldier, because I didn't hear anything southern-like accent. This is not a joke, by the way, I am serious. I even remember having a bruise on my shoulder!

  4. My husband, son & I went to Gettysburg and stayed at the Cashtown Inn about 7 miles from Gettysburg, but the sight of a skirmish between N & S on the way to Gettysburg .
My husband & I had some CRAZY experiences. I even got poked really hard because I was laughing because I thought it was all rigged !
Too bad that place in s closed. It was a really cool place.

  5. The video where the fife is playing around 6:24 you can notice straight ahead on the lower portion of the field that theirs movement in just that one area while everything else is relatively still.

  6. I do believe in the ghost sightings of Gettysburg, but this looks like some people who are more interested in posing to get fifteen minutes of fame than really capturing unexplained footage. Reminds of ghost hunters where all these people point these gadgets and go, "Shhh! Did you hear that?" And nothing really provable.

  7. I'm originally from the DC/Virginia region of the country, so when I went to Gettysburg I stupidly tried to provoke the spirits not too far from Virginia memorial there. I forgot what exactly I said, basically that I didn't believe in ghosts, and the ghosts drained the brand new battery in my car just to prove to me they were there. 😂 I got my answer.

  8. I was in a reenactment group some years ago, and my group, CSA, and a Yankee group we knew were at Gettysburg doing a demonstration of manuvers, camp life, etc, near the Pennsylvania memorial. I lost several rolls of photos that I shot, and a couple of the younger boys swear that a dark figure pulled aside their tent flap and looked in at them. They very quickly picked up their tent and moved it away from the perimeter. A buddy of mine thought he saw ME wandering around the perimeter, as I have a long black duster, but i didnt have it with me there. He said the figure was walking the perimeter and then just disappeared.

  9. Great sounds and ghostly images, the flute was playing The Hymn The Son of God goes to war, it was sang during the Christians war, sounds like the spirits did not want you to leave at the last encounter, Well done everyone.

  10. I really wish I was able to believe in this stuff, but I can't. I used to believe until 5 years ago when my boyfriend of 18 years passed away. We always said to each other, whichever one of us went first, we'd let the other know that there was something after & I've been waiting & watching since & there's been nothing. I've seen him in dreams but never in real time. There's NO life after death, there's just blackness

  11. Just a comment on the fife music. There are many people that will play their period correct instruments "for the boys" while standing on top of Little Round Top. I have done this with a civil war marching band many times but in November only. A fife will carry a good distance. Perhaps in this one case it was someone paying tribute up on Little Round Top. Just a thought. Otherwise, a good video.

  12. might want to get a company of modern american infantry to patrol in Gettysburg so the spirits understand the nation has moved on.
