I work in TV News here in the states, Pittsburgh, PA..its always horrible when tragic spot news happens.. It's hard to cover things sometimes..especially when innocent children are involved..
I watched the Grenfell Tower fire Live as it was just reported on. Everyone else in the country was asleep at that time, but I was awake watching Sky News. Probably the only person in the country that was doing that.
The locsl council tried to blame the Grenfell fire on a tenant allegedly cooking meth in his kitchen.
I saw the Bradford Football Stadium Fire live as it happened, along with the rest of the country: I thought it was the end of football in England

Noel Edmond’s Late Late Breakfast Show – this was a Saturday EVENING show, it wasn’t in the morning, and was cancelled due to Michael Lush’s death, who was a volunteer and not an official stunt performer.
I remember seeing Anthea Turner blown up live.
These TV producers are arrogant and thick as two short planks. Anthea Turner should have been nowhere near the tailgate of that truck and Micheal Lush was killed because the producer refused to spend some money on hiring an airbag even though he had been advised to do so by a pro stuntman.
