15. This report draws heavily on the CSIS war game study of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan.
    Problems with that study —
    1. It concludes US would lose 4 submarines. WTF?!?
    China cannot locate, let alone target and hit any of our submarines.
    For me, that makes the entire CSIS analysis suspect, since this item is absurdly ridiculous.
    2. Like most other analyses I have seen, it treats Taiwan like a helpless pinata.
    It ignores Taiwan's large supply of advanced missiles, especially the 2000+ anti-ship missiles.

    Who makes ALL the advanced chips used in advanced missiles??
    Taiwan.
    Who has the biggest supply of the chips needed to make advanced missiles??
    Taiwan.
    Who has the chips to enable advanced sensors, ECM, and ECCM capability??
    Taiwan
    In my estimation, Taiwan has 2000+ advanced anti-ship HF-2, HF-2e, and HF3 missiles.
    If attacked — Taiwan will USE those missiles.

    America's problem??
    Having something to do when we finally get our Navy there.
    Taiwan will SINK China's invasion fleet within a few days,
    before we can get our carrier fleets in position to do anything.

    OH, BTW — Taiwan's missiles are mobile, and very difficult to destroy with a pre-emptive attack.
    People who think China can do that, are VERY wrong, IMO.

18. About 90% of the Taiwanese families have settled down in Taiwan before ww2 and their history seems to be seen right through. Chiang-kai-shek and his followers fled China to Taiwan after ww2. When a person introduces about Taiwan's history he or she shouldn't neglect the fact that the Dutch and the Spaniards had established the first and second governments respectively in southern and northern Taiwan during 1620s and before that the Austronesian Formosan indigenous people had inhabited here since time immemorial.

    This world is about to go insane. North Korea will invade South Korea, China will invade Taiwan, Iran and Palestine will invade Israel and all this will happen simultaneously while Russia continues to invade Ukraine. If the west is not prepared for this and it catches the west of guard, IT WILL, WITHOUT DOUBT, BE THE BEGINNING OF WWIII AND IT WON’T END WELL FOR THE WEST. We MUST get on top of this issue now and get prepared otherwise it’s literally the end for us.

22. There are no guarantees in life. The CCP should have never won the Chinese civil war but they did. There are other wars throughout history that one side should have won or lost but by just stupid luck it went the other way. China will "MOST LIKELY" fail. There are quite a few variables that no one can account for until the war is well in progress. Heck as the Ukraine invasion by Russia started everyone said that Ukraine was going to be steamrolled by Russia. Ukraine is putting up a really good fight being the extreme underdog.
