Firstly China will never attack Philippines, it is a waste of time and effort to attack Phil;ippines, there are too much going on in their economy to do that.
Secondly USA WILL NEVER go to war for Philippines, if it does not go to war for Ukraine and Israel, it WILL NEVER go to war for Philippines, besides only China, Russia and Iran have operational hypersonic missile that can send nuclear warheads into US mainland and virtually unstoppable, with that they can also wipe out the Pacific fleet even before it start to set sail.

Regarding China's Navy vs US Navy —
Not very important, IMO.
Taiwan's missiles will destroy China's invasion fleet in the first few days.
The US Navy will hardly have time to respond by the time
Taiwan defeats China's invasion.
BTW – The CSIS war game study is deeply flawed, and needlessly pessimistic.
It ignores Taiwan's 2 000+ anti-ship missiles which will sink China's fleet.
Our mutual defense treaty with ROK does NOT require their help
in case of a war over Taiwan.
That is NOT how mutual defense treaties work.
When US supports Taiwan in resisting a Chinese invasion,
I do not expect, or WANT, ROK to get involved.
That would just make the situation messier, AND
ROK cannot bring much to the table in helping Taiwan.
Their navy and air force could do little to help.
China has a very diabolical 50-Year-War-Plan that would drastically change the present global world order to suit the sinister hegomonic ambitions of china's xi over Asia.
China will never go to war. Rather, it will try to make the enemy submit through coercion and bully. The technological development it boast is also a tactics as deterance to US to stay away from dispute and aggression it intended. It may be a game plan.
