5. I cried when I saw this video. Poor River was so badly neglected by this volunteer. I wanted to to give him a big hug. He was so rejected that he took shelter of food.. It has taken Takis and many loving volunteers a long time to build River’s trust. Takis Shelter is loved all over the world for the compassion and care it provides for hundreds of animals. I pray this volunteer realizes how sad her neglect of River makes people feel.and thus learns to give unconditional love to all of the animals.

    But she should really have made a point of giving him attention. He clearly wants it but is to shy/insecure to approach and he gets ignored and gives up. Not ok.
