10. Of course I understand that rescuers cannot always keep every beloved animal that they rescue. But we must also keep in mind that rescues are usually mutual, and on a deeper and subtler level we each have chosen each other…….. says the daddy of currently 11 cats, probably ending up with 12.

19. To anybody saying she shouldn’t let anybody adopt the cat doesn’t care about the bigger picture! Us fosters connect with every single rescue l! Every one! We don’t look as one rescue as more important than the others. We have some that need more help and rehabilitation but they all need love. If we kept every animal we bond with we would keep every one! It’s so important for people like us to get the animals adopted as soon as they are rehabilitated! So we can rescue more! There are so many animals that’s are in this cat’s condition or worse and need to be rescued. So it’s imperative that we get these angels adopted so we can continue to rescue! This isn’t for everyone. I can also reassure that when they are adopted they adjust and bond and are super happy. Remember these cats were taken off of the street. And I don’t know why you guys think being adopted is devastating for them because it isn’t! They are happy to be loved cared for and fed! She’s doing the lords work. And as a foster it is do disheartening to see people overlooking how important what she is doing is to so many cats and are willing to overlook that because they care about one cat. She’s doing a beautiful thing and is rescuing so many cats that have interesting little personalities and big struggles just like this little guy had.
