  1. The moments where it has little debris and cloud pull, where it's invisible is how people get killed trying to "see it" looking out windows and doors. There's this instinct to want to try and figure out where the tornado is I know, but taking shelter is the safest option always. It's sometimes hard to really grok that they are literally just wind and unless it's sucking things up or pulling clouds down it's an invisible force you may not really see till it's on you and it's too late to take shelter.

  2. I get this… I've only been in Columbus for a year and a few months now and I don't think I've ever been as tornado prepared… I'm originally from Annapolis MD and we literally just had our first tornado (that I know of) rip through a few years back ten minutes after I drove on the road it crossed over.. It damaged my great grandmothers old work place (which is extremely creepy) and seeing all of the broken trees.. They said it was an F1 but I swear it was an F3 just from seeing the damage first hand… Stay safe.

  3. Here in cali, we are very lucky as there is only a small thunderstorm. I hope people who are living their will be safe. God bless them.

  4. This things' early stages looked extremely similar to that of the 2011 Joplin tornado, where it's some dust and several (relatively) small subvotices and then it just condenses right before your eyes, except in this case it's much smaller but still obviously extremely powerful.
