My heart goes out to these animal resuers! What a legacy they will have in their life. To save an animal no matter how big or small, what a legacy to be able to relay to your children or grandchilren…to express to them to feel 'humanity'. I can only hope that I don't come across any of these issues as I wouldn't know how to handle it but if I did I can only hope that I would know what what to do….big or small…..I can only hope I will be able to handle it. I rescued a kitten, with the help of my father, from a busy thoroughfare. I had to wash him several times to get all the asphalt out of his coat.
Also, my ex and I had a dog show up in our yard during a heat wave. He pushed his way into the house and made himself family with our other pets.
I think animals have much more emotional intelligence and range of emotion than they get credit for. Humans are so darn arrogant and really need to stop putting themselves above other creatures!!!
Whale sharks don't eat meat or fish so the only danger was a slap from a fin.
That wasn't a mutated deer, that was a male deer who had gotten entangled with another and the other died and eventually the head was decomposed enough to make it easier for the live deer to move and eat more freely.
