He looks around to make sure no one notices, and then, in an act of cruelty, leaves the dog in the road and abandons the scene. The poor dog, confused, follows him for a bit but soon becomes disappointed. Fortunately, a few minutes later, the sweet dog is rescued by a good Samaritan. They calm the distressed dog a bit and then call the animal rescue team, which arrives at the scene and retrieves the abandoned dog. Luckily, the man who left this sweet dog in the middle of nowhere gets arrested by the police. Stupid F-ing people have know idea what that does to a dog. We just rescued a mother and daughter that had been dumped. They are slowly adjusting. They are such sweet babies. We're going to the vet on Friday for a full check-up and rabies shot update for the tags.

There are so many fake videos on YouTube, I was immediately skeptical of this story being real. But after a quick search, I discovered it's true.
This happened on March 11, 2024. The guy's name is Ramiro Zuniga out of Dallas, TX. He's a Mexican national who illegally entered the U.S. in 2004. He was arrested and held on a $4,000 bond. He was later placed in ICE custody pending the outcome of the immigration hearing. There is no word on whether or not he's been deported. It's not likely that he was. But even if he has been, he will probably just come back again, and commit even more crimes. Our judicial system is worthless. This guy should be deported from existence.
If foriegn nationals dislike their country so much, they want to live in the U.S., the least they can do is follow U.S. laws to keep it from turning into the mess they left behind.

I am so happy that the man who abandoned the dog got jail time. Hopefully he will NEVER have the privilege of owning a pet.
