DEAD Talks with David Ferrugio engages death a little bit differently. Each new guest shares their experience with grieving or perspective on death in a way that shatters the “don’t talk about death” taboo. Grief doesn’t end; it evolves. Having lost his father on September 11th when he was 12, he learned the importance of discussion and sharing other people’s stories. DEAD Talks Podcast hopes to make it a little easier to talk about grief, loss, death, mourning, trauma, or whatever it may be. You may cry, but you also may laugh.

  1. I've experienced 2 near death. 1st when I was 10yrs old. Cardiac and respiratory arrest from heat stroke. Coach picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. This Cardiac thump
Restarted my heart. I was above myself telling my sister…she will be okay repeatedly… i watched the Coach running across the football field, pick me up and the cordial thump activated the electrical pathways in my heart. I was immediately back in my body. Had he cradled me, i probably would have died. At 60yrs I'm in the hospital in a state of sepsis. 20% chance of surviving. A continuous tapping on my shoulder and a voice saying repeatedly…shh, I am here shh I am here…
As an adult, I was an RN. my purpose in life. I'm retired now. My purpose now is to care for my mother.
    Psalm 46 verses 1 and 10.
