  1. As someone who kills ducks n chickens for a living you have your ducks wrong the one is a watter duck a molard is a young duck mixed with a Muskovy duck lol

  2. ive just been waiting for you to rescue a horse! ill have to see if i can get some jesus cream and send it out to you guys. its all i used on mine and healed everything up so quickly. super excited for you!

  3. Please read this! I am not familiar with your channel, but I did see this video and watched it through. My senior rescue was pulled from a killpen. True rescue situation, not one of the killpen scam situations (not all killpens are registered, actual killpens). Exact same issues. I’m a farrier, those feet are just cracked and I agree, not that bad. PLEASE don’t shoe her or ride her yet, for the love of god. The bugs on her legs and shoulders are bot flies, bot knives exist and they sell them at TSC. Please find someone to help you with this journey for this mare, she is in extremely rough shape and this requires experience. You can absolutely overload her with calories being as emancipated as she is, all by accident, and cause her to founder. Founder is a stage worse than laminitis (separation of hoof wall and sole, in summary) where the bone in their hoof begins to rotate causing extreme pain and the horse to be permanently crippled in the majority of cases. She’s on green grass so please watch her grass intake – it’s extremely sugary. Grass rounds 24/7 are much much safer when putting on weight than grass. The patchiness looks like rainrot, my old man lost all his fur when I got him. Blue-Kote/Bantix/medicated shampoo baths and regular grooming is great for it. If it’s itchy, it’s rainrot (wash your hands after handling her unless you want it spreading). PLEASE keep her halter off! Halters on (especially non-break aways) are so so dangerous and with her being as weak as she is it’s better to leave her alone and take that halter off. Like I said, PLEASE get someone more experienced involved. I can tell with your vocabulary and explanations that you are extremely green to horses. This is literally a matter of life and death especially since you’re green and your kindness can actually be deadly. Thank you for pulling her however, I know your heart is in the right place, this just isn’t a situation to learn from with how bad of condition she is.

  4. You are VERY lucky you dont live up north. 😂 especially with a rehabilitation center. Currently where i live its been in the -20's, And its been HELL. Lmao. Happy to you you took in a horse though. Cuz alot of horses are sold to slaughterhouses, and its the saddest thing ever.

  5. I ranked extremely high in a job aptitude test for being a farrier. Uh… I'm terrified of horses 😅 She's a sweetie though, keep posting about her and you may just cure my phobia!
