29. He was a good actor I will never forget when I went to see Rocky 4 at the theater and when Apollo Creed was killed in exhibition fight I was floored didn't see it coming.

37. His death is tragic, but I don't think it should be said he died tragically. He's moved onto the next stage of existence to meet the creator and be recreated in a new stage of life for his soul to blossom even more.

38. I grew up watching Carl Weathers since 1975 in the first Rocky movie. Now I’m saddened that he’s gone and I will miss him every day.

The characters you played in some of the greatest movies of the 70's 80' and 90's I mean Appolo Creed was an amazing performance Col. Dillon in predator that handshake with Arnold is the undisputed number 1 film handshake of all time and coach chubbs in Happy touched us all. RIP great man. A life well lived.
