11. Half way into this video I realize that most of these near death experiences were caused by excess speed or stupidity.

12. @2:34: some physics and math. 74km/h (= 20.8m/s) down to zero. Wet road, bad conditions means about 5m/s^2. He should be able to stop within about 4s. But he used almost 10s. He didn´t fully brake. He could easily stop in about 42m – in front of the crashed cars on his lane, but it took him about 100m. At the place where he could have stopped he still had deadly 46km/h. –> At such an accident use full brake! We have ABS since more than 20 years. But even without ABS he would have stopped in front of the crashed the cars. Don´t be scared to use full brake, it may save life – in best case your life.
