Storm Isha Causes Chaos in the UK: Thousands Without Power and Disrupted Transportation
Storm Isha has wreaked havoc in the United Kingdom, causing widespread chaos and disruption. What sets this storm apart is that the amber and yellow warnings cover the entire country, whereas usually they are more localized. The wind speeds have been recorded at astonishing levels, with gusts reaching up to 107 miles per hour at Tay Bridge near Dundee. Northumberland experienced gusts of 99 miles per hour, while Caernarfon in North Wales saw winds of 90 miles per hour. The Needles in the Isle of Wight, located on the south coast, recorded gusts of 86 miles per hour.
The aftermath of Storm Isha has left thousands of homes without power across the country. The island of Ireland has been hit the hardest, with around 200,000 homes experiencing power outages. Northern Ireland had 45,000 homes and businesses without power at dawn, while Scotland reported 50,000 homes initially, with some already regaining power. Additionally, over 10,000 homes in Northern England lost power overnight. The heavy rain that accompanied the storm, combined with the melting snow from the previous week, has resulted in numerous flood warnings. Scotland has 50 flood warnings, England has 30, and Wales has 5.
Transportation has been severely affected by the storm, with train services experiencing significant disruptions. In Scotland, no trains were running in the morning, and efforts are being made to restore services. Northern England faced similar issues, with no trains running north of Newcastle in the morning, and severe delays expected throughout the day. The Humber Bridge has been closed to high-sided vehicles, and roads in southwest England have also been impacted. Social media has been flooded with videos showing the extent of the storm’s impact, including a greenhouse blown onto railway tracks and treacherous conditions along harbors and coastlines.

Gotta love Big Jet TV when the weather is a bit frisky. 😂 "Go on my son!"
Just like as I says… UK will slowly end up under water over a long period of time but not as long as we think, the governments whole plan 🤦♂️
Great people making the planet more unhabitable 🌎
168mph top gust from Isha at Glencoe which is the 3rd highest recorded windspeed in the UK after the 173mph gusts at Fraserborough, and 197mph at RAF Saxa Vord.
Unfortunately it's only beginning. From 2024 the number and scale of natural disasters will increase multiple times all over the world. The reason for this is entering the cosmic cycle of 12000 years. If we don't take action now, in 5-7 years it will be impossible to live on the planet. We still have a chance to save the planet and our own lives. The analytical report and ways to solve the problem are voiced at the international online forum "Global Crisis. The Responsibility" Creative Society
Hi my real name is isha
Highest chalk cliffs in the UK. NOT the highest cliffs
Scare tactics,just another storm
This is hilarious. I grew up in Cornwall and was a teenager living in Marazion when the RNLI lifeboat The Solomon Browne was lost, together with the coaster Union Star. All hands were lost. The bravest men. 100mph – Hurricane Force – winds were and no doubt still are, typical. Stop sensationalising events and reporting them as some unusual phenomenon.
Give one good reason why news media need to put a reporter out in a Gail to show us it’s windy. 😵💫 ( or what snow, rail storms, floods look like too ) hard to believe but we’re quite good at understanding these things, especially when we can see it through the window. 🥴
My wheelie bin got blown over 😬
Not a patch on the 1987 October storm, not even close !!! No hysteria back then.
🥱 Sensationalising 'the weather', like its never happened before.
РЕПАРТАЖ НА 180 КМ/Ч.😃😄😆😅🤣😂 DROP BY DROP AND THE OCEAN, DROP BY DROP – CLOSE THE TAP!😉
Can I just say – that microphone/noise processing is insane!
Not what you want to hear the captain of you plane ("Im just waiting for eerm dede death..definitive!")
All those new wind farms and as soon as it gets windy there's no electricity.
Cant wait for when it get sunny and the solar panels stop producing electricity.
Enjoy the narrative everyone.
Shocking Scenes?
Radio active winds stay In ✌❤
