Civ 6 | The Mechanics Of This Civ Are AWESOME, A MUST TRY! – (#1 Deity Akan Civilization VI)
Spread The Viralist

In this game of Civ 6, we’ll be playing as Oson’s Akan, a modded civ by Sukritact, and the objective today is to take you through one of the most original and fun Civs I’ve played in recent times on Deity in Civilization Six!

Some of the mechanics and features of this Civ are ones that, quite frankly, I could see being used really well in base game mechanics. Developers, take note!!

All maps, mods and tech support on getting these games to work are available on my discord, so swing by! If you want to help plan this series, consider becoming a channel supporter using the links below.

  1. That commercial you made for subbing was different from anything I expected and I was actually really impressed and enjoyed the laugh you gave me!

  2. Sukritact gets this game on the most fundamental level

If anyone's hesitating, def go for Sukritact's Oceans. One of the very best mods in the game. He does more than this, subscribe to his work and enjoy

  3. I just realised something interesting – settlers not costing a population point, while obviously a buff in its own right, also waters down the power of getting great people points when the capital grows, because for every pop it will take the capital longer to grow. It sews up a potential exploit of "train settler, grow capital cheaply, train settler, grow capital cheaply…"

  4. When anticipating an early game war with Russia I always consider going God of Healing Pantheon for fun. It is so satisfying to use their own Lavras against them to heal my own troops even if their cities are not yet conquered.

  5. Legend has it that the world of Ursa Ryan sprang from two primordial sources, ever-vigilant, ever-lasting, guarding the forces of good from giant crusty crabs:

Source of Being and Source of Horse.

  6. I think you have no idea of how happy this video made me, I had a secret wish for you to play with some of Sukritact's modded Civs, specially with al-Andalus (well, I'm Portuguese and I love our past). Hope to see it!

  7. So glad you are playing Orson at last! He is great fun to play with lol. Hope you try Ramkhamhaeng next! don't think you've played him yet!
Sukritact does fantastic work and is really good with graphics too! Make sure you check him out anyone who hasn't yet 💪👍

  8. This one was an amazing start ngl, the sheer momentum gained is kinda nutty, and with all the near conquest/expansion, wouldnt be surprised if this ended up being a 3 parter series.

Talking about mods, have you considered doing some games with the BBG mod? Its a mod used by the CPL for their civ6 tournaments, that generally moves a lot of stuff around to make civ6 work better as a competitive multiplayer game, and i thought it might be interesting for you just due to the sheer amount of changes it makes, it almost feels like a different game sometimes. There are a lot of interesting parts, like a governors rebalance (For example, Liang has a promotion that increases the yields from all the tiles like floodplains that get periodical destruction, for some sweet floodplain gaming), general changes to civs/dedications, natural wonders that are much more impactful, etc. that i feel you might like exploring.

  9. £574 – Oson led the Fante people to what would become Mankessim in 1252. Legend has it that the Fante's chief fetish priest, Komfo Amona, planted a spear in the ground when they reached the location of the settlement. The spear is called the Akyin-Enyim, meaning "in front of the God of the University of Sankore". The place became the meeting place for the Fante elders and the head fetish priest when discussing important matters.

  10. Haven't seen this civ but I've enjoyed all of the sukritact civs I've used before, got to try this one too. Nice little reeds and marshes start btw, always feels nice when you can get a few useful desert cities out of it
