It is a pity award. It would be so embarrassing to win it. Imagine having to go on stage and accept an award not for merit but for the gender you happen to be. It's suggesting women aren't doing well on twitch, which is a lie and a slap in the face of women who are doing well. There's also this subtle assumption that there is some kind of collective or systemic sexism which limits their success, which is also debatable.
