  1. Apparently certain breeds can – with training – complete a marathon (unlike humans like myself). We've all watched sled dogs and working dogs (cattle and sheep herding) keep going for hour after hour, but those are bred to run. I'm guessing that Tibetan Mastiffs and Great Danes aren't quite so keen on the idea, but smaller breeds seem to adapt to long distance running just fine. Way to go, Boomer.

  2. Just amazing…..an extra caring heart …..Jessica not only saved this poor soul but gave him a unbelievable life♥️there are angels among us❣️

  3. This reminds me of The Waterboy quote: "My Mama says that alligators are ornery because they got all them teeth and no toothbrush".

  4. Please don’t let your dog hang out the window. My super loyal dog used to sit in my lap while I was driving never in 1 million years that I think she would jump out the window going down the highway into oncoming traffic. You may not think it could happen to you, but it can.

  5. Fantastic! After our last rescue passed in November I told our wonderful vet that we didn't think we could do another lab at our ages. I'm 70 and my wife is 67. We hike a lot, walk a couple miles a day in the city, and have a very large fenced in yard. Anyway, the vet said we had to get another for us and the sake of a guy in need of a home. We followed her advice. He's a year old, a volatile mixture of energy and love who bears a remarkable resemblance to your guy.

  6. There used to be a polar bear at the old Riverdale Zoo in Toronto. He walked four steps forward, and six back, all day. They moved him to the new zoo in 1975 or so; but even with an acre of space and a swimming pool, he spent decades in a corner, four steps forward, six steps back. You can take the bear out of the cage…
