  1. They shouldnt take him walking near such dangerous places anyhow ! I used to live in an opal mining town that has many deep holes dug into the ground near and outside the town. I also had dogs too at the time and I never used to take my dogs walking anywhere near those holes. I would take them walking where I knew there were NO deep holes. Common sense.

  2. To the people who will say this isnt worth it and is a waste of resources. I say its better to just rescue the dog now rather than having to risk rescuing the dog and its owner later. No good dog owner would just leave their dog after that.

  3. The Coast Guard are heroes! Thank you for your exceptional service. You deserve bonus pay! The owners had the Golden “off the leash” and should be billed for the rescue!! These heroes risked their lives to save this beautiful dog!! 💖🙏

  4. I have the deepest respect for the U.S. Coast Guard. As usual, a terrific job! These brave, fearless people are sailors, drug enforcement people, police officers, rescuers, and firefighters — to name a few of their duties. What is it that they DON'T do??????? To all those who rescued Leo, I thank you.
