It seems that a tornado is one of the worst natural disasters but this may be due to the influence of the Wizard of Oz. A tornado seems like a phenomenon one can escape from? Not sure as I’ve never experienced one. Any firsthand tornado witnesses out there?
I'm from Kansas in the US and have seen my fair share of twisters. It's a beautiful, yet terrifying sight.
We were just in TN and saw the path a tornado took. It was crazy to see it in person. Like a bulldozer.

Folks in other countries have no idea…. The monsters that are spawned over here are terrifying. Their numbers are daunting. They're like gangs of street thugs, or hooligans as they're called in the U.K. , and they're unstoppable and merciless. That being said, my thoughts go out to all victims, no matter where they live. 😣
Going through a tornado inside of a Category 4 hurricane was crazy!
5:27 we had a few small tornado devil things in summer this year in NW England, at a fete a young boy was carried away in an inflatable ball in one 😮
In New England where I live, a few years ago,I had a a warning on t.v., then one Sunday I was b putting groceries in the car, the wind was utterly still,, no nothing! I happened to look up,and watched in horror as an massive EF5 was being born! I' m no meteralogist, but I know an EF5 when I see it! Twice we've had warnings,though they usually come to nothing, however since we DID have 4 a few years ago, I pay attention!
Moore, Ok has gotten hit by TWO EF5 tornadoes. Joplin, MO was literally mowed down to the ground. It went from a rope stage to a wedge in less than 15 seconds. They actually have video of it.
200km/hr? Seriously? Talk to me when you get a tornado that reaches 500+km/hr and completely wipes your village off the map.
