  1. Ayrton's steering column failed. He tried desperately to brake and tried several times to steer the car to keep on the track. The collision itself did not kill him. However part of the steering broke off and went through his crash helmet, which ultimately killed him.

    This was the sole fault of a total mechanical failure of the "modified" steering column. Williams were held to account for this.

    Ronald Ratzenburger also died at this track the day before.

    Rest peacefully Arton Senna and Ronald Ratzenburger.

  2. Fawk, that America is bad place to be, reporters just standing doing their thing and then just being blasted away, so typical of the gun loving society! Just step across the border into Canada and gun violence takes a vast huge drop, what a safe peaceful country Canada is in comparison!

  4. My parents and I were in San Juan Puerto Rico when Mr. Wallenda was walking between the two motels. My mom and I were standing next to his beautiful granddaughter as Mr. Wallenda got 3/4 across the tight rope when the wind between the two buildings picked up and knocked him off his balance. We were about 10 feet away when he hit the car next to us. I will never forget the noise commotion or what happened to him.i was 11 years old at the time…
